Best of luck to you but I doubt you will find a free shop manual. Free owner manual but not a shop manual. Even mechanics have to purchase the manual. I found one at Amazon for $29.95 + $5.49 shipping > http://www.amazon.com/1976-Corvette-Shop-Service-Manual/dp/B000ECQ5IA
