I would like a meaning for serenity and serender as I have dual addictions.

I wish you well and good luck for the future x There is a lot of help out there, I hope you can talk to your Doctor, also find support in meetings, groups etc if needed.Conquering addiction means massive changes in your life and that is very hard.......

Serenity is peacefulness, calmness, lack of stress-ness
Surrender(?) is giving up, giving in, generally to something or someone who is an adversary.

I'm not sure what dual addictions have to do with this, but there you have it.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference....
This is used in AA meetings/recovery
