For some reason, something freezing your computer. you might want to check the CPU temperature first. Sometimes the CPU gets too hot and freezing the computer or even shutting it down.

You can first try to load your windows in safe mode, and then see if it freezes. if not, then check your CPU temperature using a bios utility (its usually installed in new computers from the last 5 years), and other devices like your 3D adapter and so on.

If everything is okay you can try installing your windows with the windows cd before loading your current windows. just restart your computer and insert the windows cd. if it doesn't work you can try loading a "system disk" first and then inserting the windows cd.
