    what is gas/oil ratio for 1978 Mercury 50hp outboard

    I did not find an answer for the 50 hp but I did find this: The 1978 model, 75 hp Mercury outboard, requires a 50:1 ratio, roughly one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.
