Hi Hitwix
It very much depends on the location of the notary and what type of work you require completed (If there are documents that require apostille or legalisation, courier and consular fees may apply).
Many notaries will arrange for a fixed fee or provide online quotes. The website freeindex allows posting of a job and up to 5 notaries will respond with quotes.(
the notary finder on the notaries society website, may also be useful in this regard)
If you are a foreign national or have documents issued outside the UK, many consulates have an on site notary eg. USA, Russia etc, which tend to be inexpensive though there maybe some delay in obtaining an appointment.
