I'm assuming you have cordless phone. Are the 3 part of a set? One being the base phone that the other two operate off of? If so, unplug all phones from the wall outlet for about 10 minutes, then plug them in and try again. Make sure the base phone or main phone is plugged into the phone wall jack and the electricity outlet.
