        Check the oil level. Look for leaks. If the oil level is fine then have the sending unit tested. Do not keep driving it with the oil light on. If you have a newer car, the light may be letting you know the car is due for an oil change.

          Check its the right oil, if its had an oil and filter recently, could be the oil pressure switch.See an auto electrician.
