Geez, I just realized you are talking about a dead dog?? Have someone bury it or call animal control to have it removed!

Is this your yard and dog? If it is, can't you go and clean it up? Bucket with bag in it, a shovel and a rake, little energy and it won't be there to stink any more. If you can't manage to do this because of limited agility, can you hire a kid in the neighborhood? Trust me, the dog doesn't like the stink anymore than you do and neither do the neighbors (if you have any).

If the dog belongs to someone else and the stink is that bad, call animal control and zoning. Pet owners are responsible if their pet becomes a nuisance in the neighborhood, this includes stench due to the animal's droppings.

Lime is a good suggestion. It will still take some time to work.

How did he/she know how much the dogs weighs? Dogs are entitled to a decent burial so this poor beast should not have been left to decompose. I am not a religious person in the accepted sense but spell DOG backwards. Dogs are my favourite thing, yes including sex, so do the right thing by the poor wee beastie.
