Hmmm we have had this Q several times before- perhaps this is homework???
Here are some ideas: Certain medical diagnoses are not curable therefore those who have received those diagnoses have to live with it for the rest of their lives. This can effect the amount of insurance they must pay, having to wait for insurance due to a pre-existing condition, and predjudice of doctors who view those diagnoses in a poor light. Other diagnoses also can affect how healthcare practitioners view the patient and lead to poor or inadequate care.
