Instructions
1
Choose which component you wish to hook up with the HDMI cable. Some TVs and monitors have multiple slots for HDMI cords. If your TV does not support multiple slots, you can only insert one component at a time.
2
Look on the back of your component. An Xbox 360, a PS3, DVR or Blu-ray players have the same type of connection. There is a slot that is labeled "HDMI." Plug the cable into this port; it can only go in one way.
3
Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the HDTV or monitor. The HDMI port is usually on the back or the side. It is "keyed" so it can only go in one way as well.
4
Turn on the TV system. Select the input channel that match up to the HDMI cable, then turn on your component.
