Convert them to .jpg format when sending should help. However it will depend on the recipient's computer no guaranty.

Oh goodie! Now I know of another person who is very computer literate when it comes to this kind of stuff (as I am not!) hope you will accept any uninformed and often seemingly dumb questions I may have in the future??
