vaginal burning after sex, in the absence of STD.
(This is an answer given to another female who had a similar complaint as yours)
Here are the useful clues:
1) "I have sex often".
2) "...towards the end of intercourse my vagina started to get very sore".
3) " After sex, it was very sore and especially burned during urination".
4) "I went to bed and in the morning it was fine".
5) "The same thing happened (next time).....but the pain was worse".
I think what you’ve done is to irritate the tissues around the vagina, probably from prolonged, or vigorous intercourse. In the absence of prolonged or vigorous intercourse, sometimes just simply too-frequent intercourse can do this as well. Remember that intercourse involves friction, and too much friction (even if you think you've enough lubrication) can rub you a bit raw. If so, you can get tiny cuts in the skin/vaginal tissue. If you are having prolonged intercourse, the friction can rub the tissues a bit raw, even causing tiny cuts sometimes. These can be hard to see. But the tissues will certainly look inflamed -- probably a bit red and swollen.
This would explain the pain and burning, and why it’s worse when you urinate -- when the urine contacts the tiny cuts/abrasions, it irritates/burns the skin due to the chemistry of urine.
This is also why you’d feel better in the morning, as it’s had time to heal up some; but if you have intercourse again before it’s healed up all the way (you said you have sex often), it’s going to be easier to damage again, and of course the pain may be worse, as you reported.
Give your vagina at least several days to heal before attempting intercourse again, and, it’s best to avoid prolonged or vigorous (and especially prolonged+vigorous) intercourse in general due to the sensitivity of the vaginal skin/tissues.
