I need to take out a small amount of my deferred comp to cover my husband's nursing home rehabilitation expenses. this would be a one time amount. I am an active or currently employed state worker. I don't want to jeopardize my remaining account . Is there any way that this can be done. It is kind of an emergency.

I think you could do it, but you may have to pay a penalty , and maybe other costs.
