      I have never heard of that one.  I also have never had my dog groomed by my Veterinarian.  That would be flipping expensive.

        No dogs are not given an antithetic to have a hair cut.In extreme cases the dog may be given a light sedative to keep them calm, during the process.

          I thought they meant while the vet was getting their hair cut. What a leisured life......
