    Do you think “LOL” should get a thumb up?

    I think it’s good to know that someone has been there and read something. Other people might think “LOL” doesn’t quite deserve it. What about you?

        Sometimes it's difficult not to put a LOL under many, many of the funny answers posted,too.

        I try to restrain myself because then people get a notification that I've posted in a thread they participate in and it's me just appreciating their humour! :D

        Depends on the question itsmee, if it's funny I suppose "LOL" is appropriate.


        Same as "Yippy" in a strange kinda way.

          I think if you look at the number of views you will see how many looked. LOL would get a thumbs up if I also thought it was funny!

            Yes. Me too. However, sometimes I’ll LOL if they think it’s funny and I really really don’t understand it.

                No, Ma'am, I don't believe "LOL" deserves a thumb's up.  LOL is a response, not an answer. "Yippy", generally used by Benthere when someone celebrates a "milestone" is his standard congratulatory message, much as "Cool Beans" is used by me.  
                LOL is fine as a comment; I'm not going to be giving that a thumb's up (or down).
