RED means STOP.
Ether you have no oil pressure or the engine is over heated.
In any event if you continue to run the engine you will cause permanent damage.

the symbol on the light is a question mark surrounded by a circle with a part circle around each side. what does this mean and what do i need to do to rectify it?

i don't have the manual and it's bank holiday tomorrow. if anybody knows what this light is/meens and is there a simple cure i can do to fix it?
