I do not understand your question. Why does the keyboard type? It's suppose to type.
Did you mean it does not type? It's a wireless keyboard, did it type before? Are you sure it's compatible with XP? XP is an outdated system now. If your keyboard is new, then it may not be compatible with XP.

It the orginal key board that came with the desk top when it was purchase in 20005. Dell computer Xp. I am sorry you didn't understand the question. Restate question. My wireless keyboard does not type or will not let me type. I try rebooting computer or restorting it to it to a early time when it did work, and I also try unlocking the number sift key.
OK, I've never known of an XP that came with a wireless keyboard. That is reall what has me confused. Did you order the keyboard special? Have you tried recyncing it to the brain? Is this keyboard a Dell one or another?
