        For too many it is a painful experience, past and present. They are all heroes who have given theire lives for this country and the men and women who have kept this county free. God bless America!


        It is also in remebrance of my second husband who was in the navy and fought in the battle of Okinawa in 1945.

          We lost more men at Okinawa, 17,000, than we do on D-Day, 15,000

            So many times we celebrate it as a time for parties, a day off from work or school, and getting together for fun and laughter. Let us truly remember the pain and suffering others endured so we can have this celebration.
