I could not find the instructions for a '94. This is for a '98
Instructions
1
Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery using a wrench to loosen the clamp bolt on the cable end. Lift the cable off the battery and isolate it from the battery while you are working on the belt.
2
Look at the front of the engine and find the belt tensioner. It is located in the center of the front portion of the engine. It is a long metal arm with a pulley on one end and a spring loaded mount on the other.
3
Place a socket and ratchet on the bolt in the center of the idler pulley that is mounted to the tensioner. Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise to release the tension from the belt and then remove the belt from the pulleys.
4
Rotate the tensioner clockwise to the home position, making sure it does not snap back or damage will occur to the spring inside the tensioner. Install a new belt on the pulleys. There is a sticker on the radiator support with a belt path diagram on it. Refer to it as you install the belt to ensure you follow the right path.
5
Install the belt over all the pulleys except the tensioner's idler pulley. Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise, install the belt around the idler and then turn the tensioner clockwise, tightening the belt as you go.
6
Remove the socket and ratchet from the belt tensioner. Connect the negative battery cable to the battery and tighten the clamp bolt with a wrench.
