Most 2 stroke engines these days are designed to run a 50 to 1 Fuel/oil mixture.Although my experience has taught me to run them on 25 to 1.The extra oil does no harm other than cause a little extra oily discharge from the exhaust.The extra oil in the mixture will make the engine last longer & it's better to use too much oil rather than too little.I have several McCulloch machines & I have run them on the 25/1 mix for years.
