    Are there 16 oz. in 2 lbs of frozen hash browns?

    16 ozs is equal to 1lb, you require double

    But technically, once it melts from being frozen, the water retained rolls off, probably not 32 ozs anymore.  A bit less.. But even if you removed all the moisture from the potatoes you would still end up with more than one pound.. But that's assuming the bag weighs 2 pounds when frozen.
