    Irritating garment labels…Do they irritate you too or not?

    One thing that “irritates” me because irritates the skin on the back of my neck is the idea of some “creative” garment designers to embroider the garment labels with metallic thread which are or then attached to “any garment with a neck on the inside center or near center of the neck ” according to two separate USA garment labeling laws.

      The ones in children's clothes are either embroydered in or a decal that is ironed on.

          Many clothing manufacturers are now making "tagless garments".  They have no tag as the information is printed right on to the material of the garment....great invention!  No more itching!

            What irritates me most are the ones that say "made in china"...

              The one I removed this morning was "Made in Peru" :(

              "" It adds cost to the product and makes me waste my time to remove them and in the process I may dammage  the shirt.

                I dont have that "problem .I get hand me downs .Hence the name "Dowsa".You see the labels are worn out when I receive them.

                      I hate them too, even cutting them off doesn't always work as there is still enough left to irritate,I get very annoyed if I have to unpick part of a garment to get them off completely, having the manufacturer's or necessary information stamped on them as Ducka said is a much better idea
