I'm looking for a decent sound proofing to go between the basement and main floor that won't cost a fortune. I've seen some cloth types which are expensive and don't work very well imo. A friend mentioned that products with multi ridges on them defect sound, and that egg cartons work quite well. Problem is that their big and also I don't have enough to fill the space. Would rolls of plastic bubble wrap work? It's go the ridges/grooves and various levels to possibly deflect sound? thanks
