    How long dosquittels live in captivity?

    Squirrels are not meant to live in captivity. Set it free.

    I agree. In Canada you are not permitted to own any animal that is native to this country unless you have a special permit.
    Apparently in USA squirrels are captive bred and according to the keep and care information on the site I found above, they make nice pets... Who knew?
    I can honestly say that I have been to many tradeshows withing the pet inudustry and never seen a squirrel in a cage.

    FF.I had no idea that there are captive bred sqirrels. In all my years I have been to many Petstores and never saw a sqirrel in captivity. To hold a wild squirrel in captivity in the US is against the law also.

    Are you talking about squirrels?


    They live approximately 10 years in captivity.
