valR, Remote location, speaks for itself. check it out.
The most remote location in States is, I think, Alert Nunavut, the most Northern settlement in world. and with population of 5, this is about as roomy as it gets.This is not surprising, as settlements are built on sand, surrounded almost by sea.
Who wants a quick get a way, in more ways than one.!!

After a second reading I think that, in most of "us" , the most remote location is that of the tip of one's big toe in relation to the tip of one's hair extended vertically or horizontally depending on in which position one wants to measure
