    i recieved money from divorce do i have to report this

    There is a place on the 1040 for alimony and child support.  Both parties report it. Child support is not taxable to the recipient.  I think alimony is.  
    REPORT IT.  Your ex will be.  

    If you mean to the IRS, as taxable income, it would depend on the source.


    Ask you attorney would be my suggestion.
