East coast of Fl would be your best bet to see a lot of things the west coast is more laid back and kind of boreing. Starting from the south you have the keys that are packed with tons of things to do, then Miami, they have a ton of clubs and nice beaches. Fort Lauderdale is a lot like Miami, the beach area is probably where you'll find most of the action, but if you go to the middle of the state you can check out Billy's swamp Safari, if you like nature and alligators. Palm Beach is more for the Upper class a has expensive shopping near the beach.
The next area North is Orlando, they have Disney and theme parks that a lot of people enjoy. Kennedy space center is north of that it's worth the time to check out the musem. Also St. Augustine has some really cool winerys and the old fort if you are a history buff. I'm not sure about the further north cities, Jacksonville to me seems like just a big industrial area, but I'm sure there are things to do. Hope this helps and have an awesome trip.
