what do I need to do to have someone drive my car in USA?

Are there forms the driver (non-commercial) will need at the border?

Your car needs to be legally registered.  If someone other than yourself is driving, your insurance policy should cover drivers other than yourself.  My son, for example, has been specifically EXCLUDED from driving my Dodge Charger. Were he to be driving the car and get into an accident, my insurance company wouldn't even know me and all liabilities would befall me personally.

As long as the driver is lisenced and your car is registered, there should not be a problem. Are you insured for another driver ?.
