          It's also for medicinal purposes.  Dogs eat grass when they are sick too.

              Yes Dogs do eat grass for their digestive sytems and Cats aslo eat grass to help them bring up fur balls

                Eat grass, cold nose, drooped tail, bloodshot eyes, saliva running down its neck---  Your dog has been partying all night, it has a  hangover..
