      Probably just lay them on the pan and cook them on a low heat until you see them brown up a little more.  Never heard of roasting walnuts!

        either of two ways the first is to line an oven tray and spread the walnuts out in an even layer and bake in a moderate oven, or you can use the top of the stove and use a preferably non stick pan over low heat, either way don't leave them as it is very quick and they scorch easily

          Just put them in a dry frying pan. Keep the heat low and stir them until they reach the colour you desire.
