Autoclave's mechanism of sterilization: flowing steams into the sterilizing chamber, inside which are found relatively cold objects, leads to condensation of the steams once they touche the cold objects. Condensation of steams leads to a release of large amount of latent heat, so that the sterilized objects are both moisturized and heated, simultaneously. The essential combination of moisturizing and heating enables the thermal destruction of microorganisms.
