I've used Progressive for car insurance, and they seem to be on the up and up. At least they would take me, where as the other auto insur companies wouldn't - - - - -just b/c I missed a few payments on my home owers insur....b/c I was in the hosp every month in '07 and 08. and had surg again in 2010. So, I went without homeowners insur for a few years b/c no one would take me. Finally , recently , State Farm let me sign up for home insur, and it's taken out of my ck acct every month, . So, there will be no late payments. :-)
