Does anyone know how to up a person's rating if they give you a helpful, or amusing, answer?
Somebody did it for me but didn't tell me how. I would have liked to be able to do it for others... and how many might do it for me if they like my answers? I'd like to be able to vote on answers and my rating isn't high enough.

suliz , karma is given when a person gives you a thumbs up to an answer you gave or a question you asked. You need a set amount of personal karma to be able to give a thumbs down. I do not believe you need a set amount to give a thumbs up. So you can "vote" but only if the person has responded in the new questions area and not in the comments section.
