Is any country outside of Australia and Singapore using the COVID19 APP on their mobile phones..????????
Answers: 3 Views: 1364 Rating: 2 Posted: 3 years ago

We don't have the app available yet here, but they are testing it on The Isle of White this week.  Thats a small  holiday island off the South coast near Southampton,  if it's successful they are going to make it available to all. It's sounds like a good idea, they say it's a bit dodgy on the security issues though. You must be doing something right down there you don't seem to have had many deaths. We are just over 28000 still rising although slower,  but they are talking of easing the so called lockdown soon, I think it's a bit early myself. But then, the longer it goes on business is going to suffer, and we all suffer financially.  I wouldn't want to be one of  the people having to make decisions about that , it's a nightmare.  Take care , keep safe.

This is me working on.....
Answers: 5 Views: 956 Rating: 4 Posted: 4 years ago

My wife spends most of her time finding jobs that need doing, and I spend most of my time persuading her that they don't.

She will win in the end,she usually does.

What's the biggest hardship that you've faced as a result of the coronavirus?
Answers: 7 Views: 1406 Rating: 7 Posted: 4 years ago

The shop where I worked to subsidise my pension has had to close. Not sure if it will open again, they were already struggling . I hope they will, but the main worry is that we can avoid catching the virus, we are staying in and hoping to keep away from it. Keep safe everyone.

Is there such a thing as a harmless crushwhen you're married?
Answers: 4 Views: 934 Rating: 3 Posted: 4 years ago

Not a good idea, best to work at what you have got. If you've married someone it was for better or worse, richer or poorer. Mess around with someone else and it will only end in tears. So unless the marriage is a total breakdown, and you both agree to make a break, best to work at what you have.

Do you think President Trump will be impeached?

I think he will come out of this even stronger, and hopefully win another term as President.

I like what the Queen said about all of the hoopla surrounding Harry and Meghan. What about you?
Answers: 7 Views: 1555 Rating: 5 Posted: 4 years ago

I have always been a royalist, I may be about to change my views, I am sick of them winging and complaining about the hard life they have, they don't have a clue what life's about. Harry and Meghan want their bread buttered on both sides, they say they want to give up their royal life, by that they mean to live in Canada while they keep the so called cottage in Windsor ( which we paid to renovate) still being subsidised by Daddy Charles. And then appearing on American TV making millions of dollars for the privilege. If that's what living a normal life is I would like some of it, and so would a lot of people of their age who have to get up every morning to work, not knowing if they will earn enough to pay the bills at the end of the week. As for the press being accused of racism , those accusations are total rubbish, the British  press have never been that.

I recently met a woman at a bus stop, whom I went to school with 40 years ago. I recognized her, despite not having seen her since school.
Answers: 4 Views: 954 Rating: 4 Posted: 4 years ago

I usually find I recognise faces, but can't put a name to them. Most people who I bump into from years ago recognise me, because I lost my hair when I was about 19, so I've always looked old.
