State of California enacts legislature to hire communists for state positions.
Answers: 3 Views: 1381 Rating: 2 Posted: 6 years ago

Communism has taken many twists and turns since The Dark Days of "Communism" in your country.  Darn it anyway... even a Communist doesn't know they are one now.  True Communism does not exist as the center of the ideal is that all people no matter what role they play within a society are equal.  Find that on the Globe.

The problem with Communism is clearly pointed out with paragraph after paragraph of rhetoric pertaining to the scenery and all brilliant and less than brilliant minds... clear as day in everything that Ayn Rand wrote ... including the most boring stuff.  The cream always rises.  Opportunity very rarely blesses the under privileged and the true concept of Communism is completely impossible.

Someone will always become greedy.  That is human nature.  Communism is an ideal that can not be attained.  I wouldn't worry.

President Trump : Get to work.
Answers: 8 Views: 2068 Rating: 7 Posted: 7 years ago

I am waiting out the next 100 days.  The Donald's approval ratings are 1% lower in Canada than they are in United States.  Tourism is down.  At first it was thought it was because the Canadian Dollar had taken a dip but after surveys it was discovered that people such as myself have decided to cancel our United States travel plans because Donald is in office. It is beginning to effect American retailers in Canada as well.  Next, it will be manufacturers.

It sure would be inspiring if he stopped insulting people before having to deal with them.  That could go a very long way.

Adding... I truly do hope that this administration gets it's act together.  Globally, confidence is shrinking.  The past two days have definitely brought upon a lot of shaking heads.  ... and sort of buggy wondering eyes.  That is not because we watch your news, it is because we watch ours.

Octopus.  They don't imprint their young.  If they did, they would take over the world :D

Can you dance?
Answers: 7 Views: 930 Rating: 4 Posted: 6 years ago

Yes but, not with my husband if I look at him.  He say's he has rhythm in his head it just never gets down to his toes.  Sooooo.... when we dance at functions I pretty much do my own thing and he thinks it is charming.  I think he is charming... I just can't look at him when a great song arrives.  He is a very good date in spite of this.  :D

I babysit dogs.  It's a smile walking.  It's a smile being with them.

Have you ever counted the steps from your car, or bus, to your front door?
Answers: 8 Views: 956 Rating: 5 Posted: 6 years ago

I worked retail for most of my adult life on and in a management and buying level.  I was required to count everything including time. It does not go away and it is not OCD.

I worked on a managennt program two years ago. My role was research and editing. The project was based on Continious Improvement based upon Lean Principles.

Counting all things is normal. We only have a numbered amount of time available to us.  As humans we are afraid of death. 'Time' is ticks and steps.  ... We naturally count.

That is why the abacus is still really cool.

So, how about NAFTA negotiations....any thoughts ?
Answers: 6 Views: 1756 Rating: 3 Posted: 6 years ago

Canada buys a lot of product from United States every single day.  Why on earth would any retailer chop their customer off at the knees?  Makes not one spit of sense.

The last time I checked it was two billion dollars a day primarily in your favor.

Soft wood and Dairy are not part of NAFTA.  Soft wood lumber amounts to 2% of our exports to United States and Dairy is at about .5% in a shady grey area because we have very specific guidelines.
