Merry Christmas from Connecticut Ducky!

The star that tops my tree. My husband made it for me the year we got married. It is a copy of the one my parents bought when they first married during WWII.

I only go to fast food restaurants for coffee. Easy on/off road when traveling and to use a restroom. My husband and I go to McDonald's frequently, but only as our coffee break time. It's our little "date time" with each other in the afternoon.

I live in rural Connecticut and would never move. I plan on leaving my home feet first, but not soon.

I have zero talent when it comes to musical intruments. I'll offer to be in the audience. One ticket sold already!

Rats.

Yes. One was a kidnapping and was found dead in a local stream. Another was a man who was shot point blank because he was mouthy in a bar. Anyone that knew him, knew he was like that when he was drunk, but knew he would have never hurt a fly. And a small child who was knifed by a man who escaped from the local insane asylum.

We are having family and a few friends for Thanksgiving this year. Next year will be the addition of a little one at our family table.
