Has anyone ever had an encounter with a dangerous animal? If yes, can you elaborate?

The scariest one was at a walking bridge at Big Sur, where we saw the mountain lion already on the bridge

Very sweet. I like how my son's dog accepts his children...a lasting bond, like Benthere said.

Has eanyone driven across the U.S., from coast to coast or border to border? If so, how long did it take? "Highs" and "lows"?

California north to Washington, east to NY, south to Arkansas, then back to California.  Many wonderful sites, 5 days in NYC, Toronto, Quebec, too. 11,000 miles in 10 weeks.

Rachel, Tammy, and Bryan all bought something at the mall. Rachel's necklace cost 20% more than Tammy's shoes. Bryan's video game cost 30% more than Rachel's necklace. If Tammy's shoes cost $30.00, what did Bryan's video game cost?
Answers: 2 Views: 1429 Rating: 2 Posted: 7 years ago

Tammy's shoes $30.

Rachel's necklace $36  ( 20% of $30 is $6 [$3 × 2])

Bryan's game $46.80  (30% of $36 is $10.80 [$3.60 x 3])

Did the courts get it right, what do you think..?????????
Answers: 9 Views: 1348 Rating: 10 Posted: 5 years ago

Yes, except for those two dissenting Socialists (aka anti-Americans), the court got it right. I'm surprised some bunch hasn't gone after Hobby Lobby in court for being closed on Sunday.

Ducky, you presented the "case" eloquently.

ROMOS, well put and directly to the point.

JHHarlan, I don't like being force fed, either.

You've lost all use of your dominant side, ie; arm, leg, foot, hand, balance.....

I would do the hard work. With my mind intact, I would wallow in self pity, but, with a good support team and light at the end of the tunnel, I gotta try.

Did anybody ever ask you, "How can you eat that?" If so, what was it, and how did you respond, if you did?
Answers: 6 Views: 2103 Rating: 4 Posted: 5 years ago

Can't think of anything I eat that raises eyebrows, except escargot.

You will never find me enjoying oysters or liver.

What country is known as "The World's First Christian Country"?
Answers: 3 Views: 743 Rating: 4 Posted: 5 years ago

St. Thaddeus and St. Bartholomew brought Christianity to Armenia after the death of Jesus. The Armenians were the first to adopt it as their state religion in the early 4th century.
