How can I mark a book as "read" on my Kindle. I don't want to delete the books I read, but would like them in a separate list.

There are basically three ways to mark a book as read on the Kindle:

    1. Use the "dots" indicator under the book title on the Kindle main screen.
    2. Move to Archive section, which effectively deletes all but the title from the Kindle. Of course you should ensure a back-up is available for future re-download if necessary.
    3. Create a new collection called "Books that have been read" and passing books that you have read to that collection.
