I found a snake

I found a small snake orange / brown on top and black and white on bottom sliding up the side of my home can you please let me know what kind this is

Put it in a jar with holes in the lid and take him someplace to be ID'd and looked after.........

First and foremost RELAX. They are more scared of you than you are of them.If you have a snake in your yard, either call someone trained in their removal or stand at a safe distance and spray it with a garden hose. Snakes hate that and will leave quickly.

How do you know if it's dangerous or not? Go to "Google Images" and input " snake" with all of these colors and see what you find. You might be able to identify what kind it is. Where did you find it, California, Texas, Australia...? Even small snakes can be deadly, if envenomed!
