    what if a person has not filed taxes for the last ten years..what will happen to them?

    depends where you are.In the U.s. I can't comment really but you are probably in deep s**t with the IRS or whatever.
    In australia,if you contact them & explain your circumstances,they will actually help you to lodge your returns & in most cases make an agreement to "pay off" any outstanding taxes.
    That person will have "all" his property taken by the IRS. Don't F**k with Uncle Sam.
    They will probobly go to jail....you have got to pay taxes and if yo don't he slammer you go!

    Yeah well.I s'pose he did write it in the third party.
    It all depends upon your own personal income bracket....however, if you have owed the lovely IRS dollars, they will keep on adding interest and penalties forever, if you have had any monies coming to you...so be it...however, I doubt if that is the reason you are asking this question...then beware...(:
    You still have to pay your tax you owe with your money or with your body in jail.
