Things You'll Need
Purlins
Stud finder
Nails (optional)
Hammer (optional)
Power screwdriver and drill
2-inch wood fastener screws
2-inch metal screws
Closure strip

Instructions

Attach the purlins to the studs or rafters over which you wish to install the Suntuf panels. You can either nail them in place or drill screw holes through the purlins into the studs and use wood screws to secure them down.

Attach a closure strip -- the vertical support for the panel -- at both ends of the project area so the Suntuf panel's last raised section fits over the closure strip.

Position the panel over the purlins so the wavy pattern settles naturally over the pattern in the purlin.

Drill screw holes into every other raised piece of Suntuf panel. Space the screws about 6 inches apart.

Secure the panel down with the metal screws and screwdriver.
