    why do credit scores say free but at they end they charge your 1.00 processing fee when it is for low income housing

    Because if you read the finer print, the first report is free and then you get charged per month after that to have continued access to your credit report. The dollar charge up front is to ensure they can remove money from your account each month or charge your credit card monthly.
