TB is a highly contagious bacterial infection that can quickly spread if not caught, isolated, and treated early. Tuberculosis is an airborne disease, and can be caught by breathing in the air that an infected person has contaminated through: Breathing. Coughing.

A lot of people have been exposed to tb and don't develop problems. Treatment is available and successful. Just get the test done and see if you have been exposed if your concerned.

that's true. I worked with nurses who tested positive b/c they were exposed to it but didn't have it. My aunt too.
