What is the most insulting happenstance that's affected you?

No one in my family has ever asked me about when I lost my son. Never mention it, never bring it up. Like something as traumatic as it was never happened,

jhharlan do you want to tell us what happen to your son. for me I was involved in a legal case for four years. one of the two lawyers told me if they won I would get a minimum amount of money. they got shocked and won the case. One called me at work and stated how thrilled they were. when I called them back to ask about my amount of money, they said they did not say that. I learned the very very very hard way to get things in writing. that case made them both millionaires and made me mad.

I'd love to tell anyone but it's 17 years old and my family is not interested and they are who counts. Oh, well.....

jhharlan you know sometimes things are just to painful to hear. my mom is getting up in age and she cannot stand to hear any bad news, especially about her family, that's kids on down to great grand kids. your son's passing could have been more than your family could bear to hear about or speak about. God bless you, my friend, and your family too.

Pass, nothing. CPS (the vultures) took him. Long story and knowing what I know now it never would have happened. It was a year long nightmare. Nobody there…….

terry , did she have substance abuse problems ? Something like that happened to my g. friend when she was a kid. Her mother left the family and never came back. The father raised them, but he wasn't a good father b/c he got remarried and his new wife abused the kids.

My sister badmouthing me at school 40 years ago, and to relatives 4 years ago has been untruths and hypocritical.

I am sorry for your loss Julie. I hope you have many beautiful memories of your son. This question is difficult to answer because I don't know the answer. I certainly wish I did though. People don't say anything about my husband either. When he first died everyone was very nice and comforting. After that, nobody says a word. Not sure why myself. Can you tell me something nice about your son that you'd be willing to share with all of us?
