I've been to a few but never got involved. It is fun to watch people try to outbid one another. Also, there is a lot of really interesting stuff to rummage through.

We put it up for auction on the advice of the real estate agent,we had 2 people turn up after the real estate told us they had 14 people coming to the auction,,naturally it fell through and we still had to pay $800 regardless,and it all happened at a very bad time in our lives..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Poor auctioneer. We have an auctioneer here who has hundreds show up at all of his auctions. His auctions are fun and well advertised but he's been in the business for many years.
