        Don't remember what happened with my skin when I was a kid. I do get some tan now because I golf but I don't 'work on it' as some do. I really don't like that leather look that some (old) ladies seem to love. Ick.

            I played outside in the sprinkler and swam a lot when I was a kid and no one bothered to put sunscreen on me so I tanned very deep brown.  I used tanning beds for a couple of summers when I was in my 20's, but I stopped using them since they are not much safer than getting a natural tan from the sun.  I could use a little more sun on my skin these days because I'm so pale, but here we are in the middle of summer and it's raining and I'm wearing a jacket. :(

              Four years ago my previous doctor placed me on a very high (over the counter) dosage of Vitamin D because I was experiencing very bad pain in both of my legs. Once I started the high dosage vitamin D the pain stopped. I am still taking a vitamin D (along with Calcium) supplement every other day but it is not as strong as what my former doc prescribed. We do not get a lot of sun here but I sat in front of a big window every day so I do get some sun rays. I also walk the dog everyday and even if it is cloudy, I guess it helps.

              Not on purpose but my skin would turn dark golden brown ... I am usually a shade baby by nature.... spent the morning in the cool cool woods yesterday but everyone else said it was too hot outside ... LoL  Nature's air conditioning!!

                We did but none worth casting ... there are actually four Bigfoot in this pic ... two little ones on the backs of trees left screen and further back are two big ones poking their heads out the bushes watching us ... LoL There's a sort of nest on the ground way in the back there and those two are just beyond it. I usually isolate them in an editor before publishing. So cool.
