Yes Tommy, I have heard of it. I'm so sorry that you have received this sad and scary news. Please keep us posted with as much information as you feel comfortable in sharing. I wish I could give you a (real) hug.

We hear it spoken of often here in the States Tommyh, mostly from law firms trying to get victims as clients in a suit against their employers. Were you exposed to asbestos in your workplace? Sorry to hear about your diagnosis.

Yes a work mate of mine had it, we used to lay vinyl asbestos floor tiles together for many years, not sure if he got it from that or some of the old buildings he knocked about. His was in his chest, but you can get it in the chest or stomach. I wish you well Tommy , will be thinking of you and your family. They are finding cures and treatments for all these nasty things all the time , try to keep positive .

Oh, this is not what you need, now or ever. 

I just did some research on it, and could not be more unhappy. You WILL be on prayer lists. Hope the diagnosis is stage 1, and treatment can begin with optimistic prognosis.
