    I have a 1994 mini Mayfair SPi and am restoring it at present. I have overhauled the suspension parts, with the exception of the drivers side as I cannot get the cone compressor tool to engage with the rubber cone in order to compress it for removal of the top arm. The passenger side was fine and as the car is a genuinely low milage model, 18,200 only, I find it hard to imagine that it has had the cone previously replaced with an imperial threaded (old type) one rather than the standard metric t
