    mmm...mmmm Ducky!  Saute' in real butter with a clove or two of smashed garlic, a pinch of salt and pepper and a little squeeze of lemon at the last ... then muncha buncha Fiddleheads .. yum!

    Garlic, butter, salt, pepper and lemon makes ANYTHING taste delicious. Sounds good to me. :)

    omg you guys are so lucky... my new landlady and her sister and niece are all from Korea and they LOVE doing up massive Korean BBQ.... oh wait 'til I tell them !! LOL Now... how many are we? ;D

    This is the first time I've seen  fiddleheads. Sure would like to try some. I found a picture with a recipe that looks very good.

    @CB I just saw your comment to me under Terry's answer. I should have known that you weren't being serious, smarty pants! LOL!

    I've seen plenty, they grow all over (if they are what I think they are).  Never heard of eating them but I'll try 'em out. Did you know CATTAILS are edible? From"flower" to root, the latter tasting sweet......

    I just read that about cattails while I was researching fiddleheads. Interesting. There are lots of edible flowers too.

    Just reading about them Duck,,and they seem a bit like mushrooms,eat the wrong one and you are dead,as Wiki says,you better know your ferns,or you could get sick..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<..
