Dear Colleen - I wanted to post a photo of myself - I have one on my e-mail but do not know how to do this as you have probably gathered like so many other things.
I have asked this question because I saw ROMOS - had asked did admin know the site is going down. Came across this he said this some time ago. I used the link at the bottom of the page "contact" but did not intend this to be a question for everyone on site. Hey no rude comments..lol
Hi Poppy! By using "Contact" at the bottom of the page, you will reach administration and they are the ones who should be able to give you an answer. They also need to be kept aware of various problems/complaints from the members here. If they do not respond within a couple of days, keep contacting them until they do!

There is a glitch in the new system. I cannot post an avatar at all. I’ve written the admin and they wrote back that it’s just a matter of days before this glitch is resolved. Otherwise, it’s easy to post, just go to your profile page and click PROFILE PICTURE and download the photo you want…...

I tried but don’t know how to get picture: A to point “B”, I’l figure it out……Thanks for the reminder, now I’m afraid to take a shower…...
Thank you all so much. A friend of mine will help me with this as she e-mailed me this photo of me but seems more complicated - cannot do these things - apparently have to download then send - she will help me sometime. Thank you again - I thought this would just go to the administrators?
Poppy, items go to the administrators only when you contact them directly as I explained a few days ago, right below your question. I hope you realize that we moderators, are not part of administration.
@Julie: I too, am having a problem with the lack of contrast on the thumb. When I look back to check if I gave someone a TU, I sometimes click on it and it asks me if I want to cancel my vote! :(
